Responsible Gaming at jitaae
At jitaae, we want every player in Bangladesh to enjoy our platform as a source of entertainment — not stress. This page explains the tools, resources, and protections we have in place to help you stay in control, set personal limits, and seek help if gambling ever stops being fun.
1Our Commitment to Responsible Gaming
jitaae was built for Bangladeshi players who love cricket, casino games, and sports betting — but we recognise that gambling carries real risks when it is not approached with care and intention. Our responsible gaming framework is not a box-ticking exercise; it is a fundamental part of how jitaae operates. We believe that sustainable entertainment is only possible when players are protected, informed, and empowered to make decisions that are right for them.
We have invested in tools that put control firmly in your hands — from configurable deposit ceilings to voluntary self-exclusion and cooling-off periods. We train our customer support team to recognise the signs of gambling-related harm and to respond with sensitivity and genuine care. And we work to ensure that no one under the age of 18 can access jitaae, full stop.
Responsible gaming at jitaae means three things: prevention (stopping harmful play before it starts), protection (providing tools for players who feel at risk), and support (connecting anyone in difficulty with real help, quickly). The sections below explain each of these pillars in detail.
We educate players about gambling risks before problems develop, not after. Clear information is available at every stage of the player journey on jitaae.
Deposit limits, session timers, cooling-off periods, and self-exclusion are built directly into your jitaae account — no lengthy forms required.
Our support team is trained to identify warning signs and respond compassionately. Reach us any time via live chat or email at [email protected].
jitaae never uses aggressive re-engagement tactics on players who have set limits or requested exclusion. Your wellbeing comes before revenue — always.
Gambling should be entertainment. If you are playing to recover losses, borrowing money to fund deposits, or feeling anxious when you cannot access jitaae, these are signals worth taking seriously. Read on for self-assessment guidance and the tools available to you.
2Age Restriction & Verification
18+ Strictly Adults Only. jitaae is exclusively for players who are 18 years of age or older. Gambling is not suitable for minors, and access by anyone under 18 is a serious harm that jitaae actively works to prevent. It is also a criminal offence in many jurisdictions.
Every new account on jitaae must pass a mandatory age and identity verification (KYC) process before any real-money gambling activity is permitted. This is not optional. Players who cannot verify their age will have their account suspended until verification is complete.
Accepted verification documents for Bangladeshi players include:
- National Identity Card (NID) — the primary verification document for Bangladeshi residents
- Valid Bangladeshi Passport — accepted as an alternative to NID
- Birth Certificate — accepted as a supplementary document where required
Documents are verified through a secure KYC process. Your submitted documents are encrypted, stored securely, and never shared beyond what is strictly necessary — see our Privacy Policy for full details.
If you share a device with younger family members, we strongly recommend using parental control software (such as Net Nanny, Bark, or built-in Android/iOS family controls) to block access to gambling websites. Keep your jitaae login credentials private and never store your password where children can access it.
If you believe a person under 18 has gained access to a jitaae account — whether your own or another — contact us immediately at [email protected]. We will investigate all credible reports within 24 hours, suspend the account, delete associated data, and refund any deposits made by the minor.
3Recognising Problem Gambling
Problem gambling develops gradually and is not always easy to recognise — especially in yourself. It is defined not by how much you bet, but by the negative impact gambling has on your finances, relationships, mental health, and daily life. The following self-assessment questions can help you reflect honestly on your gambling behaviour.
If you answer "yes" to three or more of the questions below, we encourage you to use jitaae's player protection tools and/or reach out to a specialist support organisation.
1Do you spend more money gambling than you originally intended to?
This is one of the most common early signs — deposits that start small and escalate session by session without a clear ceiling in mind.
2Have you ever borrowed money or sold possessions to fund gambling?
Borrowing from friends, family, or taking out loans to fund deposits is a significant warning sign that gambling is causing financial harm.
3Do you gamble to escape problems, stress, or negative emotions?
Using gambling as a coping mechanism for anxiety, depression, loneliness, or relationship difficulties often leads to rapid escalation of both the gambling and the underlying issue.
4Have you tried to cut back or stop gambling but found it difficult?
Difficulty stopping is a hallmark of addictive behaviour. If you have told yourself "this is my last session" multiple times but continued anyway, this is a clear signal to seek support.
5Have your friends or family expressed concern about your gambling?
People close to you often notice changes in behaviour before you do. If someone you trust has raised this concern, take it seriously.
6Do you find yourself thinking about gambling when you are not playing?
Persistent preoccupation with gambling — planning the next session, reliving past wins or losses, or feeling restless when you cannot play — indicates the activity has taken on an outsized role in your daily mental life.
Chasing Losses: "Chasing" — increasing your stakes or continuing to play in an attempt to recover money you have already lost — is one of the most dangerous gambling behaviours. It almost always results in larger losses. If you find yourself chasing, stop, close the session, and consider activating a cooling-off period on your jitaae account immediately.
4Player Protection Tools
jitaae provides a suite of practical, easy-to-use tools designed to help you stay in control of your gambling. These tools are accessible directly from your account settings and take effect promptly once activated. No lengthy approval process is needed — your request is your decision.
Set a maximum amount you can deposit over a daily, weekly, or monthly period. Once the limit is reached, no further deposits are accepted until the period resets. Lowering your limit takes effect immediately; raising it requires a 48-hour cooling-off period.
Immediate EffectCap the total amount you are willing to lose in a given period. When your net losses reach the limit you have set, jitaae will restrict further play until the period expires. This is the single most effective tool for preventing large unexpected losses.
Immediate EffectSet a maximum duration for each gambling session. When your session timer expires, jitaae will display a prominent reminder and give you the option to end your session. You can also enable automatic session end, which logs you out when the limit is reached.
ConfigurableTake a short break from jitaae for 24 hours, 48 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. During a time-out period your account is inaccessible for gambling. You will not receive promotional communications during this period. Time-outs cannot be cancelled early.
Cannot Be Reversed EarlyRequest a long-term or permanent exclusion from jitaae. Exclusions last a minimum of six months and can be set for 1 year, 3 years, 5 years, or permanently. During exclusion, your account is suspended and promotional messaging stops completely.
Minimum 6 MonthsEnable pop-up reality check reminders at intervals you choose (every 30, 60, or 90 minutes). Each reminder shows how long you have been playing and your net session result, so you always have an accurate picture of your session — not just how it feels.
ConfigurableHow to Access These Tools: Log in to your jitaae account, navigate to Account Settings → Responsible Gaming, and select the tool you wish to activate. Changes that restrict your activity (lower limits, time-outs, exclusions) take effect immediately. If you have difficulty accessing these settings, contact support via live chat or email and we will make the changes on your behalf within one hour.
5Self-Exclusion Programme
Self-exclusion is the strongest player protection tool available on jitaae. It is intended for players who feel that gambling has become — or is becoming — a serious problem in their life and who want to prevent all access to the platform for an extended period.
When you self-exclude from jitaae, the following happens immediately:
- Your account is suspended and you cannot log in
- All pending withdrawal requests are processed and paid out to you
- Your account balance (minus withdrawals) is held securely and returned to you upon the end of the exclusion period if you choose to return
- All promotional and marketing communications from jitaae are stopped immediately
- Any previously set deposit limits, loss limits, and session reminders remain in place for when your exclusion ends
- You are added to our internal exclusion registry to prevent the creation of new accounts during the exclusion period
Self-Exclusion Duration Options:
- 6 months — minimum exclusion period
- 1 year
- 3 years
- 5 years
- Permanent — indefinite exclusion with no automatic end date
Self-exclusion periods cannot be shortened or cancelled before their end date under any circumstances. This is intentional — the purpose of self-exclusion is to remove the option of impulsive gambling during moments of vulnerability.
How to request self-exclusion:
-
1
Log in to your jitaae accountIf you cannot log in, contact support directly at [email protected] and we will process the exclusion on your behalf without requiring login.
-
2
Go to Account Settings → Responsible Gaming → Self-ExclusionSelect your preferred exclusion duration from the available options.
-
3
Confirm your requestYou will be asked to confirm your decision. Once confirmed, exclusion takes effect immediately. You will receive a confirmation email to your registered address.
-
4
Seek additional supportWe strongly encourage you to also contact an external support organisation (see Section 8) alongside your jitaae self-exclusion for the most effective protection.
Important: Do not attempt to create a new jitaae account during your self-exclusion period. Any accounts opened during an active exclusion will be closed immediately and balances returned. Attempting to circumvent a self-exclusion is a breach of our Terms and Conditions.
6Deposit & Loss Limits
Setting deposit and loss limits is one of the most effective ways to ensure that gambling remains within your personal financial comfort zone. jitaae supports limits in BDT (Bangladeshi Taka), configurable across three timeframes: daily, weekly, and monthly.
A deposit limit caps the total BDT amount you can add to your jitaae account in a given period. For example, setting a daily limit of ৳2,000 means that once you have deposited ৳2,000 in a calendar day via bKash, Nagad, or Rocket, no further deposits will be accepted until the next day begins. Minimum configurable daily deposit limit: ৳500. There is no maximum — you set the ceiling that is right for you.
A loss limit caps the total net losses you can sustain over a given period. Net losses are calculated as total bets settled minus total winnings. For example, if your weekly loss limit is set at ৳5,000, jitaae will restrict real-money play once your net loss for the week reaches that figure. Loss limits protect your bankroll in a way that deposit limits alone cannot, since you may deposit once but lose in bursts across multiple sessions.
Key Rules for Deposit and Loss Limits:
- Decreasing a limit (making it more restrictive) takes effect immediately
- Increasing a limit (making it less restrictive) requires a mandatory 48-hour cooling-off period before it takes effect, giving you time to reconsider
- Removing a limit entirely also requires the 48-hour cooling-off period
- Limits apply across all payment methods — bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Upay, Visa, and Mastercard — and are aggregated, not per-method
- You will receive an in-app notification when you reach 80% of your configured limit, as an early warning
Our Recommendation: Set a monthly loss limit that reflects a discretionary entertainment budget — an amount you could genuinely afford to lose without affecting your rent, food, family expenses, or savings. In Bangladesh, a sensible starting point for recreational players is between ৳1,000 and ৳5,000 per month, though the right figure is entirely personal.
7Time-Out Features
A time-out (also called a cooling-off period) is a short-term break from jitaae. It is ideal for players who feel they need a pause — perhaps after a losing streak, after a particularly long session, or simply as a regular mental reset — without committing to a long-term self-exclusion.
A one-day break. Useful after an impulsive session or when you want to "sleep on it" before depositing again. Account is inaccessible for the full 24-hour window.
A two-day break — often enough time for strong gambling urges to pass and for you to re-engage with family, friends, work, or other activities that bring you joy.
A full week away from jitaae. Strongly recommended if you have noticed yourself gambling more than usual recently or if any of the problem gambling signals in Section 3 resonated with you.
A month-long break. If you feel gambling is taking up too much mental space in your life, a 30-day time-out can help you reset habits and evaluate whether you want to return at all.
Time-outs are irrevocable once activated — they cannot be cancelled or shortened before the selected period expires. This is a deliberate design decision to protect you during vulnerable moments. When a time-out ends, you will receive a notification and your account will be automatically reactivated. You are never auto-opted back into marketing or promotional communications after a time-out — you must explicitly opt back in.
Session Time Reminders are a lighter-touch complement to time-outs. You can configure jitaae to display a pop-up reminder every 30, 60, or 90 minutes during active play. The reminder shows your session duration and your net result for the session, so you can make an informed decision about whether to continue or stop.
Tip — Use Time-Outs Proactively: You do not have to be in crisis to use a time-out. Many experienced players build regular time-outs into their routine — for example, a 7-day break at the start of each month — as a healthy habit that keeps gambling enjoyable and in perspective. Think of it as a scheduled rest day for your bankroll.
8Support & External Resources
If you feel that gambling is negatively affecting your life, your finances, or your relationships, you do not have to face it alone. jitaae's support team is always available, and there are specialist organisations that can provide confidential, professional help.
Our customer support team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via live chat inside your jitaae account. If you want to discuss a responsible gaming concern, set limits, or request exclusion, our agents are trained to handle these conversations with empathy and full confidentiality. No judgment — just practical help.

We respond to all responsible gaming emails within 2 hours during Bangladesh Standard Time (BST, UTC+6) business hours, and within 6 hours outside those hours.
External Support Organisations:
The following organisations provide free, confidential support for people experiencing gambling-related difficulties. jitaae is not affiliated with these organisations, but we encourage any player in distress to reach out to them directly.
An international fellowship of people who have experienced gambling problems and have found a way to stop. Their 12-step programme and peer support meetings are available online and in many countries worldwide. Visit gamblersamonymous.org for resources in English.
InternationalA leading provider of information, advice, and counselling for anyone harmed by gambling. GamCare offers a free helpline, online chat service, and a structured counselling programme. Their resources are available in English at gamcare.org.uk.
Counselling AvailableIf gambling-related stress is affecting your mental health, the Kaan Pete Roi helpline (01779-554391) provides confidential emotional support in Bangladesh. If you are in crisis, please contact your nearest hospital or mental health centre immediately.
BangladeshFor Friends and Family: If you are concerned about someone else's gambling behaviour, GamCare and Gamblers Anonymous both have dedicated resources for friends, partners, and family members of problem gamblers. Supporting someone through a gambling problem is challenging — getting informed help for yourself is just as important as helping the person you care about.
Remember: reaching out for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Whether you contact jitaae's support team, an external organisation, or both — taking that first step is the most important thing you can do. jitaae will always support players who choose to prioritise their wellbeing over their gambling activity.
